Pastor Meshach Soli
Pastor Meshach was called to serve the South Bay SDA Church as the Sole Pastor on February 18, 2018. He has been in Pastoral Ministry for nearly 15 years with an emphasis in Youth and Young Adult ministries. Pastor Meshach is a dynamic communicator and has traveled both locally and globally reaching and teaching people about what it means to have an authentic relationship with Jesus. Meshach is also a certified Growing Young speaker partnering with the Growing Young Adventist team to foster cross generational Churches that are intentional about creating a healthier environment for both young and seasoned members. Pastor Meshach is also the Board Chair for The Two Percent Ministry which is an evangelistic and discipleship platform for Pacific Islander Communities/Churches in the NAD. He has a powerful testimony of God’s saving grace transforming his life of crime, addiction, and violence into a life of love and service for the building of God’s Kingdom. As a High school drop out Pastor Meshach has overcome many academic challenges to receive a BA in Religious Studies at La Sierra University H.M.S Richards School of Divinity and his Masters in Pastoral Ministry at Andrews University Theological Seminary.

On his down time you can find Pastor Meshach hosting “Pastoral Paddle Board Meetings” every Friday morning at Coronado, Mission Bay, Point Loma, or La Jolla Shores. As mentioned numerous of times in his Sermons, Pastor Meshach also loves Low Riders and how the process of restoring a car from old to new is a spiritual reality of how God restores us back into the image of Jesus. He loves traveling and trying new and interesting cultural foods.

As passionate as he is about ministry and paddle boarding, his greatest call and love is being the father to his 5 sons (Marley, Isaac, Zion, Gideon, and Judah) and a Husband to his High School sweet heart Linda Soli. The Soli family loves to serve together as a unit and does their best to live by their Motto of Magnifying the King, Multiplying the Kingdom, by Making Disciples for Jesus Christ.

Michelle Orozco
Michelle has called South Bay her home church for most of her life, with a few short stints in Illinois and Utah for school and work. Music has been her long time ministry, starting young in childrens’ choirs and beginning music ministry as a song leader at 16. She has supported Health Ministries and is currently the Music Ministry Director with parents who have been active members since their arrival at South Bay in the early ‘80’s.  Michelle is a Health & Wellness Coach by trade and empowers individuals to increase the life in their years through nutrition, exercise, and quitting tobacco. She enjoys traveling and spending time with her family and miniature pinscher, Cosima, who you might see after drive-in services. Her favorite verse became Hebrews 12:2 after seeing it on a spectators’ sign while running her first half-marathon in 2009.
Ron Garcia
Ron has been attending South Bay Church with his family since he was born in July of 1980! Over the years, he's served in various capacities including deacon, youth leader, and is currently the head of our audio visual department. South Bay has played a huge role in Ron's life and he even met his wife and the mother of his two kids at South Bay all the way back in 1991--she also happens to be our VBS director. Outside the faith, Ron is a website application developer and a total geek at heart (Team Iron Man). His favorite verse is Romans 8:28 because it teaches us that no matter what happens, God has a plan that He will see through.
